Here’s a HUD home, one of the several government agencies that sell off foreclosed homes. HUD has their own set of rules for selling foreclosed homes, which differentiates them from the other agencies of the same federal government organizations like Fannie and Freddie, who in turn have their own arcane rules for selling their government owned homes. Makes sense, no? No. But here we are, and in fact we are quite familiar with the HUD agency’s special requirements, and have helped buyers successfully buy HUD homes in the past.
