This one isn’t new, but Fannie just dropped the price, so it has gained some attention. It’s an 868 sqft 2/1 built in 1947. We really like Coronado Street, a quiet, tree lined neighborhood that spills out into Caldwell Park, the Aquatic Center, and the River Trail system. The Arboretum and Turtle Bay School are not far. Very nice.
We recall this as a failed “approved” Short Sale from a few months ago. Said approval having a different meaning in some circles, perhaps. Well, we approve of it now, as our FDotD. And you can actually buy it now. On top if that, Fannie is offering her usual charms. Homepath financing and the like. We can fill you in.
So why is it still for sale 70 days later?
Despite the very new looking roof, and the very new looking HVAC system that sits on it, it seems to have sustained some plainly visible water damage to the exterior siding. Looks pretty fixable to us, but perhaps frightening those with only a regular FHA loan. The last time we showed it, there were, uh, critters in the detached garage. Lots of them. Again, that can be addressed. But this one will be perhaps better as a Homepath Renovation candidate, or a 203k loan. We can help you figure those options in.
