Here’s a good sized bank owned home in the desirable Edgewood subdivision. It needs a few things.
Comes furnished with a couch. Sweet.
Easy access plumbing.
By comparison, there’s a similar sized home Pending sale nearby for $285K. That one has a pool though. This one needs some work, but is well worth fixing. According to records, this house is the unwanted asset of US Bank. Representing their interests in this sale is foreclosure listing broker Brian Salado of The Real Estate Group. He writes:
“Welcome to 1107 Peregrine Way, this home offers 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. Home is approximately 1950 square feet. In Edgewood Subdivision. Home sold As-IS. Buyer to verify.”

Edgewood is desirable for excellent location and great neighbors. It’s near outstanding Lema Ranch Walking Trails, and world renowned Redding School of the Arts.

It is dedicated to the vision of Jean Hatch and Margaret Johnson, the McConnell Foundation, to our children and diversity. Want to live inexpensively in a small town with easy access to gorgeous Lake Shasta?
Here’s a Freddie Mac 1220 sqft 3/2. Under $100 per sqft for a fixed up home in Shasta Lake City, one of our favorite small towns. There are a few more images of this Freddie Mac foreclosure home near Lake Shasta at the link. Representing the interests of the government side of this sale is foreclosure listing agent Kevin Burns of Coldwell Banker. He writes:
“Newly remodeled REO in Shasta Lake. The seller has just finished installing: new carpet, vinyl, interior paint, roof, interior doors & oven/range. Section 1 repairs have also been made. The home features: 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, approx 1220 sq. ft. and large yard.”
No mention is made that the home is in a Special Flood zone. There’s a creek that runs right next to it on the east side. That will create some additional insurance costs to be factored in. That creek runs through a lot of Shasta Lake City. Also, this short section of Chico Street is a dirt road, and the neighboring home is a trailer, so there’s that. Still, your government decided to fix it and flip it with new paint, roof, floors etc. So you’ll have to do the math on that idea. We can help you figure it out.

Don’t be fooled by Google maps. You can only approach this house on Chico Street from the west. There is no bridge over the neighboring creek to the east.
